Job Title: Behaviour Support Assistant Location: North West England, Greater Manchester, Longsight Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Training Salary: £90 - £100 Per day Job Duties: Provide support to students with challenging behaviours in a classroom setting Implement behaviour management strategies and interventions as directed by the lead teacher or behaviour specialist Assist in developing and maintaining individualised behaviour support plans Monitor and document student behaviour and progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs Required Qualifications: GCSEs or equivalent qualifications in English and Maths Experience working with individuals with behavioural challenges Strong communication and interpersonal skills Education: Minimum of GCSEs or equivalent Experience: Previous experience working with individuals with challenging behaviours Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of behaviour management techniques Ability to remain calm and composed in challenging situations Excellent observational and documentation skills Preferred Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in a relevant field (e.g., Teaching Assistant, Special Education Needs) Training in behaviour management strategies Working Conditions: Work in a classroom environment Potential exposure to challenging behaviours Collaborative work with teachers and other support staff All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
