Key Purpose of Post:
To provide administrative support to the Stock Control team, by ensuring that all stock systems are up to date and procedures are adhered to, in order to maintain and control stock accuracy at all stages of operations.
Key Responsibilites:
* Provide administrative duties, including data entry on excel and WMS system, emails and communication with other departments.
* To ensure Stock Control Procedures across the site are adhere to and provide feedback where additional training is needed.
* To give timely and effective feedback where processes are negatively affecting stock control; this applies to all areas of the business.
* Be flexible and able to provide additional support to the following teams: Goods In (including Subcontract Orders), Replenishment and Returns. You will be expected to support (including picking where required) to ensure acceptable cover and business performance, during occasions when there are staff holidays or absence.
* To organise and control Media Centre stock, for both system and stock accuracy.
* To support PI counts when required, which is likely to be 3 times a year.
* To communicate effectively, ensuring all verbal and written communication is clear, concise, engaging and easily understood.
* Take on any other responsibilities or tasks that are commensurate with the salary of the post and are within the employee’s range of skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed.
Person Specification:
* Knowledge of health and safety guidelines and best practice.
* Knowledge of warehouse operations and stock management processes.
* Knowledge of WMS, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook which covers all roles within the stock control function
* Relevant experience of working in a warehouse administration role or similar environment, with a good understanding warehouse processes.
* Experience of using WMS
* Experience of using Microsoft Office Applications (excel, word and outlook)
