To effectively manage business-critical information for our client in Thurso. Supporting requests to retrieve information within tight response deadlines, and requests to appropriately index and archive business-critical information in line with established workflows and systems.
Working as part of a small team, the first element of this role involves operating a variety of reprographics equipment in the onsite print room, including printing, finishing, copying, scanning, distribution, and the safe destruction of documents according to security procedures. Full user training will be provided.
The role also includes managing drawings, which involves locating and retrieving historical drawings from onsite archives, digitising, and distributing them to meet service level agreements, with training provided.
Additionally, you will support a contract-critical document auditing project aligned with the site decommissioning plan, working closely with the client’s project manager to meet project timelines.
The role is varied and challenging, requiring a motivated individual who can work effectively both independently and within a team to ensure customer requests are handled promptly.

What we ask
Responsibilities & Tasks:
* Provide excellent customer service, liaising with internal and external stakeholders to process information requests efficiently and in compliance with standards.
* Assist in performing regular audits of library and technical assets, providing reports to site security.
* Support procurement of published information/standards and maintain document archives.
* Manage requests in the print room, with training provided on equipment operation. Basic understanding of print processes and computer navigation required.
* Control and administer company assets within databases, ensuring traceability.
* Perform general administrative duties as assigned.
* Keep the Team Leader informed of work progress and issues.
* Maintain a tidy and safe environment, complying with health and safety regulations.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* IT Proficient – Confident in computer use, with good MS Office skills, especially Excel. Experience with electronic databases is desirable.
* Experience operating print room equipment is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. A curious mindset and quick learner are important.
* Good written English and numeracy skills.
* High attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
* Motivated, proactive, flexible, and committed to meeting customer needs.
