We are working with an award winning, family owned, manufacturer based near Oldham who are looking for an experienced Sales Ledger to join their friendly finance team. The business is part of a group that has been running for over 50 years, employing around 450 staff, producing high quality products designed and manufactured at this site.
They are seeking a dynamic Sales Ledger to ensure the assistance of smooth financial operations. You will be responsible for all sides of the Sales Ledger administration, chasing payments, sending invoices and effectively dealing with and resolving customer queries.
It is important that the candidate has Sales Ledger experience as all or at least part of their role
You must have a good working knowledge of the overall accounts process and ideally have other transactional finance experience
Ideally have experience within a manufacturing business along with stock experience
Experience using accounts systems such as Sage previously
You must have good Microsoft Excel skills
Attention to detail, organisational and communication skills are key
Ability to work autonomously and solve problems efficiently
Driving Licence will also be required due to the very occasional requirement to travel to other sites
