The Role
Can you make a positive contribution by supporting Adults with Learning Disabilities in their own home or Flat to lead an independent and meaningful life?
We are looking for motivated and enthusiastic individuals to join our team of support workers in Tameside.
About You
We require people who have the skills to work with individuals who can sometimes challenge services, and/or have very complex needs.
Full training will be provided in PROACT SCIP (Positive Range of Options to Avoid Crisis and use Therapy) Strategies for Crisis Intervention and Prevention.
Manual handling techniques, and positive behavioural support.
You must have the availability and flexibility to work irregular hours such as weekends and bank holidays all of which are done on a Rota system.
