Join our client in a key role, as a Controller, that ensures the financial health and stability of an organization dedicated to making a difference in the lives of children. This position offers the unique opportunity to provide both quantitative and qualitative financial guidance to the Executive Director and Board of Directors.

Compensation: $85,000 – $95,000 annually, DOE
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Providing financial reporting, financial analysis and policy recommendations
* Oversee accounting and insurance billing functions
* Liaise between staff and the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors
* Manage and mentor a team of 2 direct reports in the billing department
* Monitor and project weekly cash flow, ensuring timely alerts for any issues
* Review and pay all accounts payable invoices, manage positive pay, and reconcile balance sheet accounts
* Handle payroll review and approval, ensuring correct allocation and recording in QuickBooks
* Oversee month-end duties, including revenue recording, reconciliation of A/R reports, and financial statement preparation
* Engage with auditors annually, overseeing documentation and ensuring accuracy
What You’ll Need to be Considered:
* Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting
* Proficiency in QuickBooks and advanced Excel skills
* Supervisory experience and the ability to lead a team
* Comfort working with Board of Directors and financial stakeholders
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
