Prime objective of the post:
To provide an efficient administrative, HR, monitoring & financial support function to the organisation and to manage the office.
Disclosure: The successful applicant will be required to have an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check (Working with Vulnerable Adults and children).

Background info:
Roshni Ghar provides culturally appropriate mental health & wellbeing support to predominantly South Asian women and girls in the Airedale area of Bradford Metropolitan District.
We utilise a service user informed approach that promotes recovery and well-being through participation, inclusion and choice. We help to tackle inequalities and promote equality and diversity in partner organisations.
Core services include:
We provide culturally and spiritually sensitive support for South Asian women experiencing mental and emotional distress, empowering them to engage more responsively with mainstream and other relevant services where they may experience barriers. We do this through 1:1 key working, group work, and peer group support. Promoting a better understanding of mental distress, mental health promotion, and illness prevention, signposting and working with other services to promote the equality and diversity agenda.
We encourage social inclusion and promote access to educational and vocational opportunities by providing a safe space for women to explore issues relevant to their mental health and well-being.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent with at least 2 years’ experience of working in a similar role in a paid or voluntary capacity:
1. Have good understanding of the operation of mental health & wellbeing.
2. Have experience of community engagement work and project management.
3. Experience of supervising and managing staff, students, and volunteers.
4. Promote good team working ethic.
5. Familiar with organisational policies and procedures.
6. Good knowledge and understanding of the mental health service sector and local organisations and their referral pathways.
7. Have good verbal, written and ICT skills.
8. Experience of collating data for monitoring purposes.
9. Experience of writing reports.
10. Understanding of safeguarding protocols and reporting procedures.
11. Experience of dealing with conflicts in a calm and professional manner.
12. Ensuring clients are kept safe and treated with respect and dignity.
13. Deal with any low-level complaints or concerns from staff, volunteers, students, and service users.
14. Develop project plans, set goals, and budget as well as identify and manage resources.
15. Produce deliverables on the agreed outcomes set by funders.
16. Monitor, track, and report on progress and performance, including budget management.
17. Partner with external stakeholders to ensure the success of each project.
18. Lead project team, offer mentoring, training, and guidance.
19. Produce reports to funders and the board.
20. Identify, manage and resolve all potential risks to keep the projects on track.
Other duties:
* Attend community events/meetings and forums representing Roshni Ghar.
* Experience of overseeing the delivery of support to clients.
* Gather client and volunteer feedback.
* Support the CEO to ensure smooth running of Roshni Ghar.
Staff/Students and Volunteer Management:
1. Help train, support, and manage staff, volunteers, and students.
2. Organise regular staff, client, and volunteer meetings.
3. Carry out supervisions for students and volunteers.
4. Attend meetings and events relevant to mental health and wellbeing work.
Other tasks:
Assist the CEO with the day-to-day running of the service.
Deal with or report any safeguarding issues to the CEO.
Occasional weekend and evening work may be required.
Undertake responsibility for line management for staff, including organising workloads, training opportunities, and overseeing performance and gathering monitoring data.
Ensuring staff and volunteers comply with HR and organisational policies and procedures.
