A reputable college in Bedford is seeking two A Level Business Lecturers to join their team on a full-time or part-time permanent basis. The role involves preparing, delivering, assessing, and verifying a range of business courses at various levels, as well as providing support and guidance to students.
Day-to-day of the role:
* Prepare and deliver engaging lectures and coursework in Business studies.
* Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
* Provide academic and pastoral support to students.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the subject area, syllabus, and current teaching methods.
* Participate in departmental meetings, parents’ evenings, and whole school training events.
* Engage in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practice.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Degree in Business.
* Teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
* Minimum English and Maths qualifications at Grade C or equivalent.
* Demonstrable record of success in teaching.
* Up-to-date knowledge of the subject area, syllabus, and teaching methods.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Ability to engage and inspire students from diverse backgrounds.
