Aftermarket Sales Account Executive
Location: Lutterworth, Leicestershire (Carl Zeiss IQS Ltd)
Department: Industrial Quality Solutions – Aftermarket
Reports to: Aftermarket Sales Lead
Are you a target‑driven sales professional with a knack for building lasting customer relationships and a passion for cutting‑edge metrology solutions? Join our expanding Aftermarket Sales team within the Metrology & Inspection division and help us deliver world‑class software, support agreements, training, accessories and retrofit solutions to our loyal customer base.
What You’ll Do
* Territory Management
* Own the end‑to‑end renewal process for software agreements, support contracts, training and accessories.
* Proactively engage customers to ensure high satisfaction, retention and contract coverage.
* New Business Generation
* Self‑source and qualify leads via cold calling, networking and referrals.
* Develop and execute strategies to drive new opportunities across your territory.
* Customer Relationship Management
* Build deep, consultative relationships to understand customers’ needs.
* Leverage the full ZEISS portfolio to deliver tailored aftermarket offerings.
* Team Collaboration
* Partner with colleagues across Sales, Technical Support and Applications to close deals and drive growth.
* Negotiation & Closing
* Negotiate pricing, terms and contracts to secure mutually beneficial agreements.
* Overcome objections and consistently achieve closing targets.
* Performance Tracking & Reporting
* Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales goals.
* Maintain accurate CRM records and use data to refine your approach.
* Product Mastery
* Stay current on software releases, support offerings and accessory upgrades.
* Educate customers on new features and long‑term value.
Your Success Metrics
* Sales Performance: Achieve growth targets for renewals and new business.
* Contract Coverage: Maintain a high percentage of customers under active contract.
* Customer Retention & Satisfaction: Deliver excellent service and support.
* Reporting: Provide timely, accurate insights on sales pipeline and results.
* Team Contribution: Collaborate effectively to meet collective goals.
About You
* Proven Sales Track Record: Experience in Sales, Account Management or Business Development ideally within Aftersales.
* Results-Oriented: Demonstrable success hitting or exceeding sales targets.
* Relationship Builder: Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to influence at all levels.
* Self-Starter: Able to work independently, organise your territory and drive results.
* Process‑Driven: Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Communicator & Negotiator: Clear, persuasive verbal and written communication; confident in closing deals.
Desirable:
* Previous experience in an Aftersales environment
* Familiarity with metrology or inspection software and services
