Driver's Mate Monday - Friday: Starting at 6.00AM OR 12:30PM Pay Rate: £11.44 PER HOUR People Solutions are currently looking for experienced Driver's Mates to join our well established client based in Aldridge. This will initially be a temporary role, working Monday to Friday and starting at either 6am or 12:30pm Shift times can vary between 8 - 12 hours (depending on delivery routes) and the starting hourly rate will be £11.44 What are the benefits? On-site parking Ongoing Work Weekly Pay On-site Canteen / Vending Machines Possibility of a permanent position for suitable candidates Online portal to view payslips/holiday/etc Day to Day Duties Driver's Mates will be required to carry out the following duties: Assist van driver with removal of goods from van into customer's homes Multi Drop Pre Calling Customers with ETA 5-10 Deliveries Per Day (on average) Any other reasonable duties as per Manager/Supervisor request Essential Skills To be considered for this Driver's Mate role, candidates must have the following: Previous experience as a Driver's Mate (preferably delivering heavy items) Be Physically fit and comfortable lifting heavy items Comfortable working 12 hour shifts (if required) Initial online assessment must be completed Desirable Experience A clean Driving Licence is desirable for this Driver's Mate position, but not essential.
