We are looking to recruit a Weekend Security Guard to work at a site in Rochester.
Your Time at Work
Job Role
* To provide effective security provision to Grain Power Station as noted within the site assignment instructions.
* To control the access and egress of staff, contractors and visitors in a professional manner
* To use the site computers effectively to not only book visitors and contractors that are visiting the site but also to send out inductions to future visitors attending the site.
* Patrols are conducted regularly using the site patrol vehicle and on foot using the site patrol phone.
* To keep the gatehouse clean and tidy at all times
* To look professional and smart at all times and to be polite and courteous to security colleagues and staff.
* To be vigilant and proactive about the position they have.
Our Perfect Worker - Will have the following,
* SIA license preferable in order to work within the role
* Valid Manual Driving license
* A desire to learn and grow within the position
* To be able to give full concentration during busy and quiet periods
* To be able to use a computer and mobile phone effectively
* To be able to drive a vehicle and be able to walk distances for patrols
* To have an awareness of their appearance
* To be vigilant and pro-active
