As the Leaning and Development Administrator, you will be required to effectively manage daily administrative duties including; scheduling and booking training courses, supporting Vp’s Apprenticeship and Graduate programmes and becoming the team’s subject matter expert in the administration of our virtual learning Academy. This role holds significant importance in ensuring the seamless operation of the L&D team. It is a dynamic and busy role, with lots of interaction with internal colleagues, managers and external collaborators. Key Responsibilities Act as the main point of contact for all training queries throughout the organisation Provide day-to-day administration support for the L&D team Administer training programme events, including co-ordinating delegates, course invitations, pre and post learning event information, organising training room venues and resources Ensure training support materials are produced and provided in line with training delivery requirements and the L&D delivery plan Create and provide relevant reporting information to support grant applications, management and business updates. Administration of Apprenticeship and Graduate events across the organisation such as welcome events and award ceremonies. Responsibility for the Learning Management System (LMS – Vp Academy) and maintain regular updates to ensure information and content is up to date Administration of E-Learning courses, publishing learning material and recording attendance. Updating and maintaining the Learning & Development pages of the company intranet site. Administration of expense and financial forms such as PO requisitions, grant applications and the Apprenticeship DAS account, liaising with relevant suppliers. What We’re Looking For Demonstrable experience in a similar multi-tasking administrative role. Strong customer focus, with a proactive approach to solving challenges. Excellent communication skills, encompassing both written and verbal aptitude. Strong organisational skills, motivated by working with processes and deadlines. Display sound judgement, effective decision-making skills, and the ability to work autonomously. Advanced MS Office capabilities, with strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting along with intermediate experience of PowerPoint. Previous exposure to working with an LMS is beneficial but not obligatory.
