Job Summary
The Registration/Admin Clerk plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of administrative tasks within the organisation. This position involves managing the registration process for patients and maintaining accurate records. The ideal candidate will have the following:
* Excellent written and verbal communication
* Confident in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
* Familiar with EMIS system
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work as part of a team and independently using own initiative
* Excellent organisation skills and the ability to prioritise own workload

* Understand and acknowledge the limitations of their role
* Maintain confidentiality at all times
Responsibilities
* Manage the registration process for patients, ensuring all necessary information is collected and recorded accurately.
* Process patient registrations and deductions of patient records in a timely manner.
* Maintain patient record amendments.
* Summarise new patient medical records, both paper and electronic, in line with coding protocols.
* Assist in clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
Skills
* Strong administrative skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
* Effective data entry skills with a high level of organisation.
* Familiarity with clerical tasks and office procedures.
