About the role
We are looking for a Shift Manager to join our Splash Team. Reporting to the Venue Manager, the Shift Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily operational plans, health & safety, and compliance checks are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectives are being carried out by the team. You will ensure the team is in the right place at the right time to manage fluctuating guest demand while keeping operational standards and guest experience high.
As a Shift Manager, you will tackle performance reviews with the team, meet targets and deadlines, and handle cash and stock management. You will support and coach the team to deliver a great experience while driving key targets. This role covers a 5-day working week over 7 days, so flexibility is very important. As with all roles at Butlin’s, no day will be the same, and you will need to enjoy thinking on your feet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience is always your number one priority.
About You
We are looking for an experienced leader who can support the team to deliver fantastic service. Putting the guests first in everything you do, you will have experience in training and coaching the team in a fun-filled environment to deliver an excellent experience. You will be responsible for health & safety and compliance checks, opening and closing the venue, creating rosters, and overseeing the day-to-day operation of the venue.
You should be confident to direct and respond in any situation while delivering consistent brand standards. The ability to lead, motivate, and engage your team, even during periods of high demand, is important, as well as being able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changing requirements. With strong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring your team to deliver amazing results for our teams and guests every day.
Qualifications
1. NPLQ qualification and ITC skills are required.
2. NPSQ/NPMQ preferred but not essential.
3. RLSS TA preferred but not essential.
