Job summary This is a replacement Consultant post, covering a combination of general paediatrics, paediatric endocrinology and diabetes. The remit of the postholder will be to work within the multi-disciplinary team to provide and develop paediatric services to the Trust's paediatric patients. In addition, the individual will be required to play an active role in the general workload of the Care Group while having a significant commitment to teaching and training of junior staff. The On-Call commitment is for a 1:4 rota, which is classed as Category B. This is a combination of diabetes and general paediatric on call. There is a commitment to undertake routine job planned work on Saturdays or Sundays as part of the total job planned PAs.
