Due to our continuing growth, Succession is currently seeking an experienced, capable and forward-thinking individual as part of our highly skilled Risk and Compliance Team. The role… We are looking for a hands-on reporting and insights professional who enjoys working with data and is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders. This role is all about delivering high-quality reporting and insights from the Risk and Compliance teams – you’ll be creating reports, improving them, and ensuring they are decision-useful. You will support the Director of Risk and Chief Risk Officer in the delivery of the development, maintenance, and enhancement of Risk and Compliance reporting, ensuring relevance, accuracy and timeliness and alignment with the needs of key stakeholders and decision-makers. You will also collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to provide data-driven insights, analysis and, where necessary, recommendations, for senior management. On a day to day basis you can expect to be: Designing, building, and maintaining a suite of Risk and Compliance business-critical reports and dashboards. Taking ownership of Risk and Compliance MI, and preparing reports for internal governance meetings and committees – collecting data, analysing trends, and presenting clear, actionable outputs. Automating and improving existing reporting processes to make the more efficient and scalable. Monitoring key operational and risk metrics, such as service levels, process efficiency, and compliance adherence, to spot trends, exceptions, and opportunities for improvement. Providing input to the Chief Risk Officer on the preparation of draft meeting packs for discussions with key internal stakeholders and third parties. Supporting the wider Risk and Compliance teams with data, analysis, and insight to strengthen decision-making. To be successful in the role you will need: Proven hands-on experience in developing and improving reporting using Excel and Power BI. Previous experience in a reporting, data analysis, or insights role, within financial services. Exposure to risk, compliance, or regulatory reporting would be advantageous. Confidence in presenting data and insights clearly to non-technical audiences, including senior leaders. Ability to manage deadlines and delivery accurate reporting during peak periods. A practical approach – you will be the person building, testing, and refining the reports.
