The Role
We're looking for an experienced Marketing Lead to join us and support the delivery of the portfolio marketing and communications activities in alignment with the Energy Marketing strategy, working in close partnership with the Energy Marketing Manager, Sales, Business Development and the Group Marketing and Communications Team.
The role can be based in either our Knutsford or Aberdeen office and we offer hybrid working.
Role Accountabilities
* Collaborate with the Energy Marketing Manager to deliver a portfolio marketing and communications plan, aligned to divisional strategy and priorities.
* Play a key role in the planning, development and management of individual B2B marketing campaigns, leading on the approach and development of appropriate content, tools and tactics to deliver highly targeted and personalised campaigns, aligned to the Energy Division strategy, business priorities and customer needs.
* Identify effective marketing tactics for optimal customer engagement across global markets and use market intel and customer data to direct effective B2B marketing planning and activities that are customer focused.
* Actively support the monitoring and measurement of our internal and external communications activity to demonstrate impact and ROI.
* Manage the portfolio marketing costs, in line with Energy Division marketing budget.
* Work in close partnership with the Energy Marketing Manager and Central Marketing Team to achieve cohesion and implement, execute and deliver all portfolio marketing activities (internal and external).
* Lead on the planning, management and delivery of key portfolio tradeshows and events, in line with the Energy Division strategy, with clear objectives, KPIs and ROI.
* Support key portfolio engagement and meetings.
* Play a key role in communicating the transformation story of James Fisher both externally and internally (to maximise employee engagement).
Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
* Previous experience in a communications role working with a range of stakeholders and across multiple channels.
* Experience working with and the ability to clearly explain and present ideas to a range of stakeholders.
* Team player with outstanding interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
* High level of attention to detail is essential.
* Highly organised and proficient at multi-tasking.
* Experience in new product launches would be advantageous.
* Background/knowledge in the energy sector would be advantageous.
* Passion and demonstrable evidence for safety in all we do.
* Excellent financial management.
* Travel to meetings, tradeshows and events will be required.
