A background in Occupational Hygiene and knowledge of the industry are essential in order to thrive in this role. We re looking for an Account Manager to join an enthusiastic team delivering Occupational Hygiene Consultancy services to a wide range of clients across the UK. With a particular interest to deliver new, profitable contracts as well as relationship building with existing customers The tasks you will undertake will include (but are not limited to): Achieve a personal sales target as agreed with the Divisional Operations as well as monthly activity and performance targets set in conjunction with the Operations Director. Maintain and develop a wide network of contacts and build effective relationships within occupational hygiene market places, through which you will generate opportunities for new business. Follow up incoming leads through sources such as referral, website or telephone, marketing events such as exhibitions, technical forums Support the production and delivery of innovative proposal and tender documentation and presentations. You will also support other managers and members of the sales team with opportunities for cross selling SOCOTEC s wider portfolio of services To be successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate: An extensive technical understanding of Occupational Hygiene services, to include having gained at least four BOHS modules. Sales and Account Management experience relevant to Occupational Hygiene Consultancy A proven track record of generating revenue through new sales prospecting and client development in environmental compliance services. Excellent communication and relationship building skills. Good IT skills with knowledge of MS Office applications and CRM. A full UK Driving licence About Environmental Our Environmental team is made up of many different specialists all operating in within different areas of expertise. The main areas we cover are Environmental Monitoring and Consultancy together with specialist laboratories to support our services. Our services range from on site monitoring and sample collection, ranging from local businesses to large Government contracts, to consultancy works on large contaminated land projects, complimented with onsite works for dust, noise, and local exhaust emissions.
