ParcelHero is one of the UK’s biggest parcel delivery price comparison sites. With over 5 million visitors a year and over 100 remote employees worldwide, we’re a technology-driven company that’s going places, delivering innovative solutions to ensure exceptional customer care. As a forward-thinking and dynamic business, we offer excellent career growth opportunities.
In 2025, we will be rolling out worldwide our new TMS (Transport management solution) Parcelhero Pro, which enables retailers to pay a monthly subscription to centralise all orders and ship on their own carrier accounts using our cutting-edge shipping platform.
At ParcelHero, we foster a collaborative and innovative culture where every team member's voice matters. We're a fast-paced, remote-first company that values initiative, adaptability, and a strong sense of ownership. If you're someone who thrives in a dynamic, ambitious, and forward-thinking team, you’ll fit right in with us.
We are looking for someone to attend court cases on our behalf. We defend cases where we refuse a loss or damage claim that is outside our terms, and we are also the initiator of claims against debtors who have failed to pay a shipping charge.
This role would fit a law student who's keen to gain legal experience or a lawyer who has the capacity to take on ad-hoc work.
You will know how to present and defend a case, and have some knowledge of consumer rights versus business rights.
There will be some driving involved, 1-2 hours each way (as we will only use you for cases in your area), and you will need to attend roughly 1 case per month.
Because this role is specifically to attend court cases in England, you need to be based in England!
We will do all of the paperwork and court documentation, and brief you before each case, so the only requirement is for you to represent us in court.
Please note that in order for it to be viable for us to attend cases with an average claim size of approximately £1,500, the cost of defending cases is a key consideration for us.
If you think you fit the bill, we'd love to hear from you.
