Delivering pre-set lessons and covering classes during staff absence. Assisting with the implementation of behaviour support plans and strategies. Working collaboratively with teaching staff, support teams, and senior leaders. Promoting positive behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning. Helping to develop and adapt resources to meet individual student needs. Requirements: HLTA qualification (or equivalent experience). Previous experience supporting challenging behaviour, ideally within a PRU, alternative provision, or SEN setting. Confident managing classrooms and covering lessons across various subjects. Strong resilience, adaptability, and excellent interpersonal skills. Team Teach training is highly desirable (or willingness to undertake training prior to starting).
