JOB PURPOSE
As a HR Operations Coordinator at Burberry, you will play a key role within the HR team and the business supporting our Spanish-speaking colleagues across the Americas. Day to day, you will be responsible for the completion of HR administration and queries across the entire employee lifecycle, working at pace and with accuracy across all tasks, from joiners, movers and leavers, employee changes, offer drafting and onboarding to absences.
This HR Operations Coordinator role is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract and is based in our Queen Street, Leeds office for a minimum of 2 days per week. Due to the colleagues you will be working with, you must be fluent in both English and Spanish.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Responsible for the majority of employee lifecycle HR administration – this includes contract generation, new hire input, contract changes, and leavers.
2. Resolve HR queries escalated via the HR Service Desk Team – these include complex employee lifecycle (hire to retire), time to pay queries as well as simple Employee Relations support.
3. Work closely with Employee Relations and HR Business Partners to provide simple HR guidance and support with consideration of internal policy and local employment legislation.
4. Create documentation in support of the disciplinary process.
5. Ensure colleague queries and tasks are resolved in a timely manner.
6. Utilize a continuous improvement mindset to innovate our working practices to enhance the support we offer to the business.
7. Respond positively to escalations and complaints to ensure excellent customer service is consistently delivered.
8. Use HR data to identify emerging trends and potential opportunities to enhance service delivery and customer experience.
9. Support with simple reward administration during key annual activities.
10. Support the training and upskilling of the HR Service Desk Advisors.
11. Act as the escalation point for managers.
12. Support with ad-hoc projects and other duties where required.
PERSONAL PROFILE
1. Experience working in a HR service delivery/administration role.
2. Exceptional customer service skills and comfortable communicating across all levels of seniority.
3. Proficient with HR Information Systems (SAP SuccessFactors knowledge would be ideal but is not essential) and Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, Excel etc).
4. Works well under pressure and with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
6. Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken).
