Hi I'm Michelle, Senior Pharmacist Manager and we are looking for a passionate and dynamic pharmacist to join our Pharmacy Clinical Trials team, as the Deputy Aseptic Unit Manager for our unique and well-established facility. The role is dedicated to clinical trials and you will work as part of the wider Pharmacy Clinical Trials team. In your new role, you will have the opportunity to use your knowledge and experience of working in aseptics in UK and build on this to deliver a range of aseptically dispensed clinical trial medicines. Oxford University Hospitals NHS trust has a large portfolio of studies supporting all clinical specialities and you will work with a range of research and pharmacy staff to set-up new studies, provide aseptically prepared doses for open trials and expert advice.

Main duties of the job
The main responsibilities of this role are to be the Deputy Accountable Pharmacist for the Clinical Trials Aseptic Services Unit, and the Clinical Trials Pharmacy lead for Advanced Therapy Medicinal Products (ATMPs).
Working closely with the Accountable Pharmacist, the postholder will be responsible for the management, leadership and co-ordination of a Clinical Trials Aseptic Service and the provision of selected high risk injectable medicines to all Divisions within the Trust. This will require providing information, advice and liaising with researchers and external partners outside of OUH.
Working with the Accountable Pharmacist, and the Lead Pharmacist for Clinical Trials the postholder will work to implement technical, professional, best practice and regulatory requirements for the preparation and supply of Advanced Therapy Investigational Medicinal Products (ATIMPs)
