Due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Trainee Quantity Surveyor to join their team.
Your new role
As a Trainee Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for, but not limited to:
1. Monitoring project costs against budgets
2. Assisting with accurate valuations and submissions of applications for payments
3. Resolving differences on accounts and escalating where necessary
4. Assessing and validating subcontract invoices/applications for payments
5. Following up on due payments.
What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful, you will have:
1. Degree/HNC in Quantity Surveying (or similar)
2. 1+ years' experience quantity surveying in the Civil Engineering industry, utilising NEC3/4 contracts
3. Ability to prioritise tasks and maintain accurate records
4. Sound communication skills and knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
