This is a full-time opportunity for a Qualified Dispensing Optician/Practice Manager to join a friendly vibrant team. Located in a quiet part of the city with a good level of footfall, the practice has plenty of scope to increase testing days from four to six.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
You will ideally have experience of working in an independent practice and possess full knowledge of all areas of working in an optician's practice. You will be a team player first and a dispenser second, as the role requires flexibility in all areas of optician work, supporting colleagues, and offering excellent customer service.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
You need to be fully qualified with the GOC and up to date with all CET points. A good knowledge of optics is essential, with the ability to competently dispense high-end, designer glasses of significant value. Understanding KPIs, managing goals and targets, being proactive, and using initiative to complete tasks are crucial.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician
The client is offering a competitive salary of up to £36,500, working hours of 9am-5:30pm Mon – Fri and 9:00am – 17:00pm on Saturdays, with flexibility on Saturdays. All fees paid, free parking, and clear progression paths into management with support and training.
