About the Role
As part of the ongoing growth and success of our Diversification project we are now recruiting for an additional Inventory Planner to join the team.
As an Inventory Planner, you will be responsible for all areas of stock ordering and replenishments. We are looking for an individual with strong excel and systems experience to help develop the Diversification process.
Job Opportunity
Key purposes of the role are:
* Accurate allocation of stock to retail outlets using in house replenishment system
* Ordering of stock from suppliers to meet future demand
* Managing any shortfalls of stock at each stage of the supply chain
* Timely closure of orders to ensure product is picked on time
* Effective stock ordering to ensure availability is maintained with optimal stock holding
* Ensuring replenishments are cost effective
* Analysis of stock holding and store visits by merchandisers to maximise sales and efficiency

Essential Skills
Knowledge and Experience:
* Experience from a media distributor, logistics or an alternative suitable sector (for example FMCG) would be preferable.
* Exposure to demand planning, inventory management, production planning or supply chain would be beneficial but not essential.
* Experience of working in an internal service function would also be beneficial.
