We are looking for a dedicated and dynamicOccupational Therapist or Physiotherapistto join our Urgent and Emergency Care Therapy Team for a 5-month position, working within our new Frailty Unit.
In this role, you’ll work as part of our Frailty Intervention Team, where you will:
• Assess, treat, and support frail patients, helping them achieve and maintain independence.
• Contribute topreventing hospital admissions and supporting complex discharges.
• Collaborate across multiple units, including theEmergency Department, Emergency Assessment Unit, and Short Stay Ward.
• Provide supervision and mentorship to Band 5 OTs and Physios, support student education, and assist in managing the daily operations of the team.
• Engage in service development projects aimed at improving patient care and team effectiveness.
