Oncology Pharmacist - NHS Hospital in Kent - £32 to £38 per Hour - Immediate Start!
Hunter AHP are currently seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join a well-established NHS hospital in Kent. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled pharmacist to support the delivery of high-quality cancer care in a busy and dynamic hospital environment.
Location: NHS Hospital, Kent
Hourly Rate: £32 to £38 per hour
Start Date: Immediate, ongoing contract
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide specialist oncology pharmacy services to patients undergoing cancer treatment.
2. Review and dispense chemotherapy prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and patient safety.
3. Collaborate with oncology teams to optimise drug therapy and patient outcomes.
4. Counsel patients on the safe use of chemotherapy and other oncology-related medications.
5. Conduct clinical ward rounds and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions.
6. Support the pharmacy team in maintaining high standards of clinical care and compliance.
Requirements:
1. GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
2. Previous experience working as an Oncology Pharmacist in an NHS setting.
3. In-depth knowledge of cancer treatments, chemotherapy regimens, and oncology drug protocols.
4. Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Excellent communication and organisational skills.
