About the Role We are working on behalf of a fantastic secondary school in Stafford, Staffordshire, to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Secondary Teaching Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about supporting students' learning and development in a dynamic educational environment. - Full Time - 'Good' Ofsted - Supportive and Welcoming school - Supporting students one to one and small groups Key Responsibilities Provide tailored one-to-one and small-group support to students, including those with additional learning needs. Assist teaching staff in the delivery of engaging lessons and activities. Support students' academic, social, and emotional progress. Help create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere. Provide general classroom assistance, including resource preparation and administrative support. Supervise students during breaks, lunchtimes, and extracurricular activities as required. About You The ideal candidate will be: Compassionate, patient, and committed to helping young people succeed. An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills. Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to the needs of the school environment. Passionate about education and fostering a love of learning in students. Essential Requirements: Previous experience working with children or young people, preferably in a school setting. A good standard of literacy and numeracy (GCSEs in English and Maths or equivalent). Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies (training will be provided).
