Permanent Role | Term Time Only | 32.5 Hours per Week Salary: £19,681 - £21,796 per annum (OLOL Band 4, SCP 11 -17) Start Date: November 2024 Your Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact, supporting students across all age groups and abilities. You’ll work closely with teachers to deliver tailored support for students with varying needs, including those with SEND or behavioural challenges. Your responsibilities will include: Providing flexible support in 1:1 settings and small group work, helping students to engage and progress in their learning. Using your initiative to adapt class materials to meet the diverse needs of our students. Building positive relationships with children, encouraging confidence and ensuring their social, emotional, and physical well-being. Supporting children with SEN requirements, helping them to feel valued and included in every aspect of school life. Monitoring and reporting on student progress, attending review meetings as needed. Contributing to a positive classroom environment by assisting with the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities. Promoting students' well-being through guidance, encouragement, and support. What We’re Looking For: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification with experience working with SEND students. A strong ability to connect with students, recognising signs of distress and offering reassurance. A commitment to providing outstanding support for students in partnership with teachers and other staff members. The skills to inspire and encourage children, helping them build confidence in their abilities. A caring and supportive attitude, with a passion for achieving the best outcomes for all students.
