Sayjo Recruitment Ltd are acting on behalf of a client to recruit a Data Analyst We are looking for someone who enjoys working with quantitative data and has advanced excel skills, confident with VBA. An innovative thinker with good problem-solving and decision making abilities and attention to detail. Our client is a leading Customer Experience Research Agency based in Huddersfield. They work in the market research industry with many large blue chip clients. They currently have an opportunity for a Data Analyst to work on some of their many interesting and exciting projects. They are looking for an Analyst who is efficient, logical and has a consistent approach to identifying and processing large amounts of data. Pay and benefits Salary dependant on experience Our client offers a contributory pension scheme and holiday entitlement which increases to 35 days with service. All staff receive an additional 15 days unpaid holiday allowance that can be used in addition to any paid holiday entitlement. The role Job Purpose: Manage the successful delivery of cleaned & accurate data from different sources to Researchers to enable the smooth and automated process of producing reports. Manage the process of cleansing databases as efficiently as possible before surveying customers. Essential requirements: Produce on time/right first time reports and the ability to run automated reports in your team Thorough knowledge of advanced excel Excellent attention to detail and takes responsibility for the accuracy of their work You can plan, prioritise and manage your own workload and balance multiple projects to meet tight deadlines and are motivated to work under your own initiative. Ability to work as a team member, good at collaborating and sharing tasks with colleagues. You take pride in supporting the team in delivering high quality work. Have the ability to learn new systems quickly General Role / Key skills Assist in the development of questionnaires to ensure the right questions are asked in the right way to produce the data in the way needed Work closely with field to ensure that database/questionnaires are ready on time Learn how to use/ increase experience using VBA to write scripts and clean databases ready for surveying Develop your skills in all types of automation through training and practice, including SPSS, Excel, Office reports, scripting, VBA Be responsible for the Data on all your projects you work on. Collate, consolidate and manage data from multiple sources Mine large data sets, carrying out data checks, investigation of any data anomalies and appropriately categorise, cleanse and sort Create ad-hoc/ summary reports in an agile manner when requested on time and error free To work with and support Researchers in the completion of project work and communicate when the work is done/finished To take responsibility for all aspects of internal project management of a number of projects, including ongoing projects. Communicate to relevant people project deadlines and monitor closely the progress of work on your project by colleagues to ensure deadlines are met. To keep all automated reports up to date and accurate Identify areas to increase efficiency by setting up and maintaining automated processes Ability to manage own workload and adhere to strict deadlines If you have the skills and experience we are looking for.
