We are offering an exciting opportunity for a passionate Head of Therapy to join a service-led organisation focused on enhancing educational experiences for students with special educational needs (SEND). This role involves leading a team of therapists and contributing to our commitment to excellence in SEND education.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Leading the therapy team and collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team.
* Developing and implementing a holistic support model for students with mild to moderate learning difficulties.
* Delivering training on therapeutic practices to staff across the school.
* Conducting clinical assessments and ensuring compliance with relevant legal frameworks.
* Supporting the team in effective case management and maintaining accurate records.
Requirements:
* Relevant degree in a therapeutic field (e.g., Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy, Psychology).
* Professional registration with relevant bodies (e.g., HCPC, BACP).
* Proven leadership experience in a school or paediatric setting.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
* Experience with SEND and a commitment to safeguarding practices.
* Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. On the update service? You could be fast tracked through our recruitment process today.
* Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
