Teaching Assistant - SEN/SEMH Support

We are recruiting dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join schools in York, North Yorkshire.
Role
- Provide tailored support to students with SEN/SEMH needs, both one-to-one and in small groups.
- Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment by assisting in behaviour management.
- Collaborate closely with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualised support strategies.
- Encourage students to build confidence, develop independence, and achieve their academic potential.
Requirements
- Experience or a strong interest in working with students with SEN/SEMH needs.
- A caring, empathetic, and patient approach to supporting young people.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Full-time availability during term time.

All applicants must hold the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Pay rates quoted are inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This is a temporary role, with potential for permanency in the future.
