Priory Adult Care is the UK's leading independent provider of specialist adult care services. Our aim is to provide the right support in the right home for all the individuals we accommodate. We support adults over the age of 18 with autism, dementia, learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS), and behaviours that challenge, through community-based residential care settings and a network of supported living services. Example Location: Newhouse, Hurlford, Kilmarnock
Salary: £12.60 per hour from 1/4/23
Shifts Available: 8am-8pm, 8am-2.45pm, 2.30pm-8pm
Hours per week: 22/33/44
Your positive attitude, passion for high-quality care, friendly, patient, and compassionate approach are key. You should be eager to learn and support individuals with their daily activities, promoting independence and helping them reach their potential.

Responsibilities include:
* Supporting personal care tasks (washing, dressing, eating)
* Performing light housekeeping
* Assisting with safe lifting, transferring, repositioning
* Supporting attendance at medical appointments
* Monitoring and recording well-being, reporting changes
* Encouraging participation in social activities
Qualifications and skills:
* Excellent interpersonal skills and caring nature
* Empathy, patience, and understanding
* Ability to work independently and in a team
* Ability to follow policies and procedures
* Good verbal and written English skills
* Healthcare qualification is desirable but not essential
