A Food Retailer is looking for a General Manager in Distribution.
Minimum Requirements:
* Must be a Graduate calibre.
* 5 years experience in a logistics management role.
* IT literate.
* Finance/Profit & Loss Management.
* Project Management.
* Minimum 3 years Manufacturing food logistics experience.
* People Leadership.
* Commercial Acumen.
* Negotiating and Contracting.
* Identifying key issues and priorities.
* Leading and Managing Change.
* Business English.
* Achieving results in complex/ambiguous situations.
Responsibilities:
* To maximise the weekly, monthly, and annual performance of the site(s) by providing leadership, focusing on customer requirements, effective operational performance, a motivated workforce, and succession planning.
* Working in partnership with the customer and formulating relationships within the customer network.
* To integrate new working patterns in order to effect continuous improvement.
* Actively demonstrate effective communications with employees, Trade Unions, and the customer base.
* Manage a diverse team in order to fulfill business requirements and prioritise effectively so there is no detriment to customer targets and volumes.
Salary: 110k
