Spencer Private Hospitals Physiotherapy services are pleased to invite applications from enthusiastic Physiotherapy Assistants who want to join our friendly dynamic and forward thinking team. This is an exciting role for a Physiotherapy Assistant to participate in and contribute to delivering an agile, high-quality high quality service to a wide variety of inpatients.
Most of the inpatient work is orthopaedic, but we also see some general surgical, gynaecology, urology, and colorectal post operative patients.
This is a great opportunity for someone to progress in their career and gain experience in private healthcare industry.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate a keen interest in surgical patients, be motivated and passionate to progress within this field. We welcome applications from those already working in similar settings who wish to develop their existing careers.
You may sometimes have an opportunity to cover additional shifts over weekends, (where a generous 30% hourly rate enhancement for a Saturday, and 60% enhancement for the Sunday applies)

Main duties of the job
The postholder will work as a member of the physiotherapy team across all SpencerPrivate Hospital (SPH) sites. They willprovide specific skilled support to aid the physiotherapy assessment andmanagement of inpatients and outpatients.
The postholder will work as part of the multidisciplinary team (MDT) providing personcentred care to service SPH patients.They will have a delegated caseload with the qualified physiotherapistand will be expected to work unsupervised at times.
You will be workingas part of a dynamic, well-established, multidisciplinary team, alongside aPhysiotherapy Manager, experienced Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapistsand Rehabilitation Assistants. We promote close multidisciplinary team workingallowing a holistic approach to patient care.
You will assistwith the assessment and management of Elective Orthopaedic patients and workwith a wide range of patients across the Inpatient surgical and orthopaedicward, as well as providing support to the post discharge educationgroups/classes
