About the Role We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Computing Teacher to join a forward-thinking Independent School in Barnet, starting in September. This is a full-time, permanent position for a dedicated Computing Teacher to inspire students in the digital world across Key Stages 3 and 4. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging and effective Computing Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Prepare students for practical assessments and examinations in Computing. Develop students' computational thinking, programming skills, and digital literacy. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback as a Computing Teacher. Contribute to the organisation and delivery of extracurricular computing activities. Uphold the school’s ethos of innovation and support as a valued Computing Teacher. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Computing or Computer Science. Proven experience in teaching Computing at secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4). Strong knowledge of programming languages, algorithms, and computer systems. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Computing Teacher.
