We're looking for a passionate Healthcare Assistant to join our fantastic Theatre Department at Ashtead Hospital. Putting patients first, you'll be given time to care for each person as a unique individual. Our Theatre department is busy and colleagues will rely on your support. Together, you'll deliver the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment. You'll be valued for your skills and expertise and given lots of opportunity to develop.
Main duties of the job
As a Healthcare Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:
* Providing support to the Theatre team and ensuring patient care is prioritized.
* Assisting with clinical tasks under the supervision of qualified staff.
* Communicating effectively with patients and team members.
* Maintaining a clean and safe environment in the Theatre.
What you'll bring with you
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
* Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
* Good written and verbal communication skills.
* Be a highly motivated individual.
* Enjoy working in constantly and rapidly changing environments.
