An exciting opportunity has arisen within the West Caithness Health and Social Care Team. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who will be part of a multidisciplinary team working with patients in their own homes to provide holistic care. Your primary responsibility will be to assist with enabling people to maintain their independence at home and support people after they have left the hospital. The post holder needs to be flexible and able to use their own initiative. The post-holder will provide high standards of patient care in support of the team to ensure delivery of a high-quality service to the local community.
Experience is not required, as full training and induction will be given. Opportunities to complete your SVQ in Health and Social Care, and the possibility of further career progression are available.
A driving licence is essential for this post, and applicants should have access to their own vehicle for work purposes; travel expenses are available. There are pool vehicles available in rural areas.
This is a 13.9 hours per week post, with hours from 07:00 – 11:00, worked on a rota basis of four days on and four days off, with a back-to-back. Enhancements are paid for unsociable hours and weekend work.
Additional hours are also available through the integrated staff bank.
