Hays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnered with a growing manufacturing company based in Chelmsford who are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team on a temporary basis for 3-6 months.
This company is going through a period of growth and needs some interim support managing the Purchase/Sales & General Ledger as well.
Your new role
Base salary is £14 - £16 per hour is Chelmsford.
They're looking for this individual to be onsite 5 days per week, however flexible options can be discussed.
What you'll need to succeed
Key Attributes and Skills:
* Have a positive work ethic with a can-do attitude, who provides solutions and support
* Personal integrity; hardworking, personable, professional, and commercially minded
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and especially Excel (e.g. Pivot tables/formulas)
* Knowledge of Purchase, Sales ledger and General Ledger
* Attention to detail, high expectations/standards
* Be comfortable with and capable of working to deadlines.
* 2+ years accounting experience
* Working knowledge of accounting software platforms, including MSDynamics, Xero, Excel.
* Able to take ownership and assume responsibility
* Articulate and a confident communicator with a range of colleagues, clients, and other professionals
* AAT Qualification ideally but can look at QBE.
