Technical Support Engineer required by a leading provider of Satellite Communications. Our client has a global presence including offices in 10 countries and has 250 staff globally. Our client is debt-free, in a financially strong position, and continues to grow their operations further. There is an excellent opportunity to learn more about satellite constellations such as Starlink by Space X from Elon Musk and Kuiper by Amazon!
This role will involve supporting customers over the phone and face to face and helping to resolve their IT/Technical/NOC/Satellite issues. Good problem-solving skills are required for this role.
Essential Skills and Experience:
1. Network Operations or NOC experience gained within a MSP / Satellite / Telecoms / MOD
2. Customer service or customer support skills and experience - demonstrated in previous roles.
3. Professional qualifications such as Cisco CCNA or Juniper JNCIA are highly desirable.
4. Must be willing to work on a shift pattern of 4 on and 4 off including covering days and/or nights with hours from 8-8. Must be flexible to work days and nights.
