We have 5 exiting Opportunities for Volunteering in the IT Department in RDaSH.
The posts are all Face to face and will involve a range of administration, supporting IT clinics and technicians, using Microsoft packages and phone systems, checking and moving IT stock about Trust sites to drop of boxes.
The Volunteer will also have opportunities to learn key activities in a busy Department serving over 3500 staff.
- Suitability chats are being scheduled for the 15 January 2025 in Doncaster.
The volunteer is required to work within the list of tasks identified as follows:
· Greet visitors to the department / clinic in a polite and friendly manner.
· Responding to enquiries in a polite manner and ensuring an appropriate response is initiated.
· Supporting staff in dealing with spreadsheets and stock control of equipment.
· Answering telephones
· Making drinks for visitors and meetings
· Photocopying
· Confidential shredding
· Delivering and collecting equipment around the site ( subject to transport)
· Updating information on the Intranet.
· Supporting the IT clinic for staff.
· Stocking up supplies
· Report any concerns to the Supervisor / Service Manager
· Ad-hoc administration duties required to support admin function
