About the Role:
Are you passionate about live events, matches, and concerts? Join the dynamic team at The Kia Oval as Assistant Logistics Manager and play a crucial role in delivering unforgettable experiences. In this position, you will oversee the end-to-end logistical process, ensuring smooth operations and flawless execution of events.
* Setup Management: Oversee and execute room layouts, ensuring timely completion for events and operations.
* Team Leadership: Delegate and manage logistics staff, promoting productivity, morale, and sustainability practices.
* Event Coordination: Collaborate with sales, kitchen, hospitality, and AV teams to ensure accurate setup of furniture, equipment, and catering needs.
* Operational Support: Assist the Head of Logistics in planning, booking, and managing casual staff schedules efficiently.
* Communication: Facilitate smooth transitions and task handovers between day and night shifts, maintaining operational alignment.
* Room Inspections: Ensure setups meet event vision, functionality, and aesthetic standards while addressing safety and accessibility.
* Health & Safety Compliance: Oversee risk assessments, promote safe practices, and optimize space for guest comfort and security.
* Sustainability Education: Train staff on waste reduction, energy conservation, and sustainable logistics practices.
* Financial Oversight: Manage staffing systems, monitor departmental spending, and report damages using the designated platforms.
* Problem Solving: Identify complex issues and implement effective, positive solutions to enhance logistics operations.
About You:

* Experience: Previous experience working in a large-scale hospitality venue is highly desirable.
