Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of plumbing systems and be able to work independently or as part of a team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in various settings, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Duties
1. Install, repair, and maintain pipes, fixtures, and other plumbing equipment.
2. Conduct inspections of plumbing systems to identify issues and ensure proper functionality.
3. Assemble and install plumbing systems in residential and commercial properties.
4. Perform welding tasks as needed for pipe fittings and repairs.
5. Use hand tools, power tools, and specialised equipment to carry out plumbing tasks.
6. Execute heavy lifting when required for installation or removal of plumbing components.
7. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters, to complete projects efficiently.
8. Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Experience
1. Proven experience as a Plumber or similar role is preferred.
2. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot plumbing issues effectively.
3. Basic maths skills for measuring and calculating material requirements.
4. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations is an advantage.
5. Ability to work in various conditions, including confined spaces and at heights.
6. A valid driver's licence is desirable for travel between job sites.
