Are you an early-career engineer passionate about innovation and problem-solving? Schneider Electric is seeking an Associate Data Centre Consultant to deliver cutting-edge consultancy services across the UK and beyond.
What You’ll Do:
1. Audit and assess data centres, providing in-depth technical reports with actionable recommendations.
2. Conduct design reviews and propose tailored solutions to improve data centre performance.
3. Perform technical testing, including Thermal Qualification (TQ) and integrated System Verification Tests (iSVT).
4. Support data centre design builds, from initial concept to execution.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address customer challenges and deliver value-added engineering solutions.
What We’re Looking For:
1. Background in electrical or mechanical engineering.
2. Knowledge of data centre infrastructure, including cooling systems, power systems, and DCiM tools.
3. Industry certifications like CDC, CDP, or Uptime Institute courses are advantageous.
4. Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and familiarity with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) modeling.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work directly with customers and cross-functional teams.
