YOU WILL NEED TO:
* Have a valid UK Driving Licence
* Pass a Group 2 Medical
* Undertake a (DBS) Criminal Record Check
* Ensure vehicle is kept in a safe & convenient location
* Be able to drive a company supplied vehicle which ranges from cars, eight-seater people carriers and larger wheelchair-accessible vehicles (all can be driven on a car licence)
* Have the right to work in the UK
School Transport Drivers perform a valuable role in the Community, transporting children and young adults to and from school and educational centres. This is a highly rewarding role; our drivers are our lifeline for families across the UK.
The 24x7 Group is one of the largest independently run companies in the UK, transporting over 6,000 children a day, delivering contracted special needs education transport for Local Authorities.
YOUR ROLE
* Transport special needs (SEN) or vulnerable children and adults to and from school, college, or day care centres
* Work in an effective, safe, flexible manner and support the operation of the Company
* Quickly establish positive and professional relationships with passengers, their carers/parents, and the key people at the establishments they attend.
You will be required to work Monday-Friday usually mornings and afternoons during term times. Your day will normally start in time to complete a school run in the morning and again in the afternoon. Our minimum working hours are 15 hours per week with some routes exceeding 25 hours (average 21 hours per week subject to the route you are allocated).
