Salary up to £28,000 Support with training and career development UK200-listed commercial firm We're working with a highly-regarded law firm who are looking for a Post-Completions Legal Assistant to work in the property team. Based in their office in Manchester, you’ll be preparing and submitting land registry applications and dealing with a variety of Land Registry queries on behalf of fee earners. This role is perfect for a candidate with some experience in residential or commercial post completions. Responsibilities include: Preparing and submitting land registry applications including transfers, leases, charges, CN1s etc. Raising and dealing with a variety of different queries with Land Registry on behalf of fee earners Entering and updating the electronic Post Completion checklist Drafting a variety of SDLT/LTT Returns Calculating the SDLT/LTT payable for each transaction and arranging payments to HMRC/WRA of any SDLT/LTT due Registering and satisfying charges and debentures at Companies’ House What we need from you: Flexible and able to manage quick changes to process with good planning skills Some relevant experience with commercial and/or residential property post completions Excellent communication skills and remain professional and credible The Perks: Up to £28,000 DOE Support with training and career development Discounted wills and conveyancing services Health & wellbeing benefits If you're interested, then hit that apply button or reach out to Jack Lloyd
