Jenson Fisher have been engaged by a growing organisation based in Clackmannanshire to recruit a Payroll Supervisor on a full-time permanent basis. This role would suit an experienced Payroll candidate who wants to progress their career and move into a Supervisory/Management role. This is a full-time permanent role; however, the client will consider a part-time candidate (4 days as well).
The main duties:
1. Manage and lead a small team of 2 payroll Administrators
2. Process end-to-end payroll for monthly, weekly, commissioned staff
3. Meet all submission deadlines
4. Ensure RTI, AE pension, tax & NI regulations are adhered to
5. A proactive approach to identifying the detail and impact of new legislation on payroll
6. Develop systems to enhance the efficiency/take advantage of opportunities for the payroll function
7. Adherence to processes, procedure and controls
8. Dealing with queries
9. Collaborate with the HR and Finance teams
The main requirements:
1. Strong payroll and up to date statutory knowledge
2. Previous experience of managing a payroll department
3. Strong written and verbal communication skills
4. Proficient user of payroll systems and Excel
5. A confidence to challenge assumptions and offer solutions
6. A can-do attitude
7. Efficient, methodical, detailed, a good time manager
