Do you want an exceptional career as a primary teacher?
The Teach Thurrock Primary Partnership led by Dilkes Academy is running an innovative ITE programme for both the salaried and PGCE accredited by the University of Greenwich. This is a school-based training programme where trainees can negotiate their home school.
This innovative one-year course involves 4 days of training within the classroom and 1 day of training at either a Teach Thurrock school or the University of Greenwich's Avery Campus.
100% of our trainees have gained jobs in Thurrock schools and many of our early cohort are already on the leadership ladder, positively impacting the lives of Thurrock children.
We are looking for high-quality candidates with the following qualifications/attributes:
1. 2.2 degree or above.
2. Candidates with at least English, maths, and science at a level 5 (C) and above are eligible to apply, and we accept equivalency tests.
3. Individuals with passion and commitment to improving the life chances for children in Thurrock who are hardworking and resilient.
We can offer high-quality training in some of the best schools in Thurrock which can be negotiated after you have been offered a place on the course.
Applicants will be invited to an interview with a selection team if you are eligible. Information about the application process can be found on our website: Teach Thurrock.
If you apply through Essex Schools Jobs, we will contact you directly to advise you how to apply through UCAS. Otherwise, contact Andrea Parfett at andrea.parfett@catrust.org.uk. The UCAS link below will take you to our course where you can also apply: UCAS Application.
