What will you be doing? Alongside your fellow Communications and Engagement Manager and with the support of our Communications and Engagement Coordinator, you will lead on telling the story of our organisation and people. You'll develop and support our events, campaigns and projects. This is a role in which you can expect plenty of variety and opportunity to draw on a range of skills and experience. Some of the things you can expect to be doing include:
1. Working with our operational and clinical leaders to maximize the performance and reputation of our services.
2. Providing insight and interventions to improve the efficiency and experience of the 'patient journey' for people accessing our clinical services.
3. Nurturing positive working relationships with a wide range of external stakeholders including NHS ICBs, Primary Care organisations, local authorities, VCSE groups, health scrutiny bodies, local and regional media outlets, as well as patient and resident groups.
4. Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
5. Providing communications, engagement and marketing expertise to new internal projects and service development initiatives.
6. Developing inclusive and accessible materials, tools, and techniques for both internal and external use.
7. Designing multi-media communications, including print materials, press releases, email communications, social media and web content.
