This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Psychologist within the Camden & Islington Personality Disorder Service (PDS). This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, motivated AP to join a multi-professional service with psychologists, nurses, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, social workers and advanced lived experience practitioners. The PDS prioritises the team approach to working with this client group.

The post holder will support and enhance the psychological care of clients within the Personality Disorder Service (PDS). The main role of the assistant psychologist will be to support the team with assessments, support group facilitation, and clinical administration duties, under the supervision of a clinical psychologist.
The post holder will be supported to develop clinical assessment and modality-specific skills relevant to this client group, as well as support clinicians with other aspects of the service such as referral screening.
The post holder will also contribute to clinically relevant administration such as responding to enquiries, liaising with service users, and booking appointments. They will attend and contribute to multi-disciplinary team meetings on a weekly basis. They may also work on designated projects within the overall framework of the team’s policies and procedures, including conducting audits and service evaluations.
